O believers! Do not let your wealth or your children distract you from remembrance of God. Those who do so will be the losers. 9 Expend of what We have provided you before that death comes upon one of you and he says, 'O my Lord, if only Thou wouldst defer me unto a near term, so that I may make freewill offering, and so I may become one of the righteous.' 10 God will never grant respite to any soul when its appointed time has come. God is Well-Aware of what you do. 11
