Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the emissary winds, (sent) one after another 1 Then by oath of those that push with a strong gust. 2 And by the winds that scatter clouds and rain; 3 Then separate them, one from another, 4 Then I swear by the angels who bring down the revelation, 5 To end all argument or to warn. 6 What is promised will surely come to pass. 7 So when the lights of the stars are put out. 8 and when the sky is rent asunder, 9 When the mountains are scattered (to the winds) as dust; 10 The Messengers will receive their appointments. 11 To what day is the doom fixed? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 How will you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 14 On that day, woe will be to those who have rejected God's revelations! 15 Destroyed We not the former folk, 16 And We shall cause those of later times to follow them. 17 This is how We deal with the guilty. 18 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 19 Did We not create you from a base fluid 20 that We laid within a sure lodging 21 for an appointed term? 22 We then calculated; so how excellently do We control! 23 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 24 Did We not make the earth as a gathering place 25 for both the living and the dead? 26 And placed therein high mountains and given you to drink sweet water therein? 27 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 28 'Depart unto that which ye were wont to belie. 29 "Depart ye to a Shadow (of smoke ascending) in three columns, 30 "(Which yields) no shade of coolness, and is of no use against the fierce Blaze. 31 which - behold! - will throw up sparks like [burning] logs, 32 like giant fiery ropes! 33 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 34 That will be a Day when they shall not be able to speak. 35 Nor will it be open to them to put forth pleas. 36 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 37 This is the Day of Judgement; We will have assembled you and the former peoples. 38 So if you have a plan, plan against Me (now). 39 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 40
