The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By those [angels] who range themselves in close ranks 1 And those who drive [the clouds] 2 and those who recite the Exhortation; 3 surely, your God is One, 4 He is the Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the Lord of the Eastern regions. 5 We have adorned the lower heaven with the adornment of the planets, 6 and have protected it from every rebellious satan. 7 The devils cannot hear those high above. They would be struck from all sides 8 To make them flee, and for them is a never-ending punishment. 9 Except him who snatcheth away a word by stealth, and him then pursueth a glowing flame. 10 Then ask them (i.e. these polytheists, O Muhammad SAW): "Are they stronger as creation, or those (others like the heavens and the earth and the mountains, etc.) whom We have created?" Verily, We created them of a sticky clay. 11 Yet while you are filled with wonder, they just scoff; 12 And, when they are admonished, pay no heed,- 13 And when they see an Ayah (a sign, a proof, or an evidence) from Allah, they mock at it. 14 it and say, "It is only plain magic". 15 Is it ever possible that after we die and are reduced to dust and (a skeleton of) bones, we will be raised to life? 16 And also our forefathers? 17 Tell them: “Yes; and you are utterly helpless (against Allah).” 18 So it shall only be a single cry, when lo! they shall see. 19 and they will say: 'Woe for us. This is the Day of Recompense' 20 [It will be said], "This is the Day of Judgement which you have been denying." 21
