And assuredly We gave grace unto Musa and Harun. 114 and We delivered both of them and their people from the great calamity. 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 And We gave them the divine writ that made [right and wrong] distinct, 117 and guided them the straight way, 118 and preserved for them a good name among posterity. 119 Peace be with Moses and Aaron. 120 This is how We reward the virtuous. 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 When he said unto his folk: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 124 What! do you call upon Ba'l and forsake the best of the creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of yore? 126 But they gave him the lie: and therefore they will most surely be arraigned [on Judgment Day,] 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 'Peace be upon El Yaseen' 130 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 131 surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 When We delivered him and his followers, all-- 134 Except an old woman (who was) amongst those who tarried. 135 and We destroyed the rest. 136 You pass by their desolate habitations in the morning 137 and at night. Will you then not understand? 138
