In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
Read with the name of your Lord Who created, 1 created man from a clot [of blood]. 2 Proclaim! And thy Lord is Most Bountiful,- 3 Who teacheth by the pen, 4 Teacheth man that which he knew not. 5 And yet, but yet man is rebellious, 6 whenever he believes himself to be self-sufficient: 7 truly, all will return to your Lord. 8 HAST THOU ever considered him who tries to prevent 9 A slave when he prayeth? 10 Have you seen if he was upon guidance 11 Or he commandeth piety? 12 Hast thou seen if he denieth (Allah's guidance) and is froward? 13 Is he then unaware that Allah seeth? 14 Yes certainly, if he does not desist, We will seize him by the forelock. 15 The lying, sinful forelock - 16 So let him call his associates, 17 We will call the guards of Hell (to deal with him)! 18 By no means! Obey not thou him. Continue to adore, and continue to draw nigh. ۩ 19
