We certainly gave the Book to Moses, but differences arose about it: had it not been that a word had gone forth before from your Lord, Judgement would indeed have been passed on them then and there: yet they are in grave doubt about it. 110 Indeed, your Lord will pay each one of them in full for their deeds. He is aware of the things they do. 111 Continue then in the right way as you are commanded, as also he who has turned (to Allah) with you, and be not inordinate (O men!), surely He sees what you do. 112 And do not incline to those who are unjust, lest the fire touch you, and you have no guardians besides Allah, then you shall not be helped. 113 And perform the prayer at the two ends of the day and nigh of the night; surely the good deeds will drive away the evil deeds. That is a remembrance unto the mindful. 114 Therefore have patience; Allah will not let the wage of the gooddoers go to waste. 115 If only there had been among the generations before you men possessing a remnant (of good sense) to warn (their people) from corruption in the earth, as did a few of those whom We saved from them! The wrong-doers followed that by which they were made sapless, and were guilty. 116 Yet thy Lord would never destroy the cities unjustly, while as yet their people were putting things right. 117 And if your Lord had willed, He could have made mankind one community; but they will not cease to differ. 118 excepting those on whom thy Lord has mercy. To that end He created them, and perfectly is fulfilled the word of thy Lord: 'I shall assuredly fill Gehenna with jinn and men all together.' 119 (Muhammad), We tell you all the stories of the Messengers which will strengthen your heart. In the Quran We have revealed the Truth to you with good advice and reminders for the faithful ones. 120 Say to those who do not believe, you do things in your way and we are doing things in our way, 121 And do wait for the end of things; we too are waiting. 122 To God belongs the Unseen in the heavens and the earth. To Him the whole matter shall be returned; so serve Him, and put thy trust in Him. Thy Lord is not heedless of the things you do. 123
