The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Highest, 1 Who creates, then makes complete, 2 who determines the nature [of all that exists], and guided it accordingly; 3 Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 And then doth make it (but) swarthy stubble. 5 WE SHALL teach thee, and thou wilt not forget [aught of what thou art taught,] 6 unless God wills it to be otherwise. He knows all that is made public and all that remains hidden. 7 And We will make your way smooth to a state of ease. 8 Therefore remind (men) in case the reminder profits (them). 9 The reminder will be received by him who fears (Allah), 10 But it will be avoided by those most unfortunate ones, 11 [He] who will [enter and] burn in the greatest Fire, 12 wherein he will neither die nor remain alive. 13 He who purifies himself, 14 And who remembereth the name of his Lord, and then prayeth. 15 No; but you prefer the present life, 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Verily this is in Writs ancient 18 The scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
