The people of Noah rejected the messengers. 105 Behold, their brother Noah said to them: "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 106 "I am to you a messenger worthy of all trust: 107 “Therefore fear Allah, and obey me.” 108 I ask no payment from you for my preaching. The Lord of the Universe will give me my reward. 109 Have fear of God and obey me." 110 ۞ They said: "Shall we believe in thee when it is the meanest that follow thee?" 111 He said, “What do I know what their deeds are?” 112 It is only for my Lord to take account of them. Would that you made use of your understanding! 113 “And I will not repel the Muslims.” 114 I am naught but a warner manifest. 115 They said: if thou desistest not, thou shalt surely be of those stoned. 116 Then Noah said, "Lord, my people have rejected me. 117 "Judge Thou, then, between me and them openly, and deliver me and those of the Believers who are with me." 118 And We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 And drowned the rest of them. 120 In this [story,] behold, there is a message [unto men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 121 Your Lord is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 122
