We also favored Moses and Aaron 114 And We saved them and their people from the great distress; 115 And We helped them, so they were the vanquishers. 116 We gave them the explicit Book, 117 and guided them upon the Straight Path. 118 And We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations: 119 "Peace upon Moses and Aaron." 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 And verily, llyas was one of the sent ones. 123 Behold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they rejected him, and they will certainly be called up (for punishment),- 127 except the sincere servants of God. 128 We preserved a good name for him among posterity. 129 Peace be upon Ilyas! 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. 132 AND, BEHOLD, Lot was indeed one of Our message-bearers; 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 and We destroyed the rest. 136 And indeed, you pass by them in the morning 137 and by night. Will you not, then, use your reason? 138
