Noah's folk denied the messengers (of Allah), 105 Recall when their brother Noah said to them: "Do you have no fear? 106 Lo! I am a faithful messenger unto you, 107 "So fear Allah, and obey me. 108 And I ask of you no hire therefor; my hire is but with the Lord of the worlds. 109 So fear Allah and obey me." 110 ۞ They said: Shall we put faith in thee, when the lowest (of the people) follow thee? 111 He said, “What do I know what their deeds are?” 112 It is only for my Lord to take account of them. Would that you made use of your understanding! 113 I do not drive away the believers. 114 I am only a clear warner' 115 They said: If thou cease not, O Noah, thou wilt surely be among those stoned (to death). 116 He said: "My Lord! Verily, my people have belied me. 117 So adjudge between me and them conclusively, and save me and the believers who are with me." 118 So We delivered him and those with him in the loaded ark, 119 and drowned the others. 120 Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 121 surely your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 122
