In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Read: In the name of thy Lord Who createth, 1 created man out of a germ-cell 2 Read - for thy Sustainer is the Most Bountiful One 3 Who has taught (the writing) by the pen [the first person to write was Prophet Idrees (Enoch)]. 4 He taught the human being what he did not know. 5 Yes indeed, man is surely rebellious. 6 Because he considers himself self-sufficient. 7 Verily unto thy Lord is the return. 8 Seest thou one who forbids- 9 a servant of Ours from prayer? 10 Do you think he is rightly guided, 11 and enjoins piety? 12 What will happen if the prohibiting rejects the Truth and turns away from it!? 13 Does he not know that God observes all things? 14 By no means! If he desist not We shall seize and deal him by the forelock 15 a lying, sinful forelock. 16 So, let him call upon his way! 17 We will call the angels of Hell. 18 Nay, heed him not: But bow down in adoration, and bring thyself the closer (to Allah)! ۩ 19
