Al-Mu' minoon 5 of 6
And it is He Who has created ears and eyes and hearts for you; very little is the right you acknowledge. 78 It is He Who has dispersed you all around the earth, and it is unto Him that you shall all be mustered. 79 It is He who gives life, and makes to die, and to Him belongs the alternation of night and day; what, will you not understand? 80 Rather, they say like what the former peoples said. 81 They said, 'What, when we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we be indeed raised up? 82 We were promised such things and so were our forefathers before us. All these are no more than tales of the past." 83 Say: "Unto whom belongs the earth and all that lives there on? [Tell me this] if you happen to know [the answer]!" 84 They will say: Allah's. Say: Will you not then mind? 85 Say: Who is Lord of the seven heavens, and Lord of the Tremendous Throne? 86 They will say, "[They belong] to Allah." Say, "Then will you not fear Him?" 87 Say: Who is it in Whose hand is the kingdom of all things and Who gives succor, but against Him Succor is not given, if you do but know? 88 They will say: "God's." Say: "Then why are you so deluded?" 89 In fact We have sent the truth to them, but they are liars. 90 Allah has not taken to Himself any son, there is no other god with Him. Were this otherwise each god would have taken that which he created, and some of them would have risen above others; Exalted is Allah beyond that they describe! 91 who has knowledge of the Unseen and the Visible; high exalted be He, above that they associate! 92

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
