The Believers (Al-Mu' minoon)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ THE TRUE BELIEVERS will be successful, 1 Those who humbly cry in their prayers. 2 and from idle talk turn away 3 those who pay the zakat; 4 Who guard their sex 5 save from their wives and what their right hands own then being not blameworthy 6 But whoever seeks beyond that, then those are the transgressors; 7 those who are true to their trust, 8 And who guard their prayers. 9 It is they, they who shall be the inheritors 10 Who shall inherit the Firdaus (Paradise). They shall dwell therein forever. 11 We created man from the finest extract of clay, 12 Thereafter We made him of a sperm in a receptacle safe. 13 then We created of the drop a clot then We created of the clot a tissue then We created of the tissue bones then We garmented the bones in flesh; thereafter We produced him as another creature. So blessed be God, the fairest of creators! 14 Then indeed, after that you are to die. 15 Then lo! on the Day of Resurrection ye are raised (again). 16 And indeed, We have created above you seven [celestial] orbits: and never are We unmindful of [any aspect of Our] creation. 17 And We sent down from the heaven water in measure, and We caused it to settle in the earth; and verily to take it away We are Able. 18 So with it We produced gardens of date-palms and grapes for you, in which is abundant fruit for you and you eat therefrom. 19 And [We brought forth] a tree issuing from Mount Sinai which produces oil and food for those who eat. 20 And in cattle (too) ye have an instructive example: from within their bodies We produce (milk) for you to drink; there are, in them, (besides), numerous (other) benefits for you; and of their (meat) ye eat; 21 and are carried on them and also on ships. 22
