Hizb 38
< random >
The people of Nuh rejected the apostles. 105 When their brother Noah said to them: "Will you not take heed? 106 I am a trustworthy messenger for you: 107 Therefore guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me 108 And I do not ask you for it any payment. My payment is only from the Lord of the worlds. 109 "So keep your duty to Allah, fear Him and obey me." 110 ۞ They replied, "Are we to believe in you when your followers are but the lowest of the low?" 111 He said: 'I have no knowledge of what they have done. 112 Their account is only with my Lord, if you could perceive 113 “And I will not repel the Muslims.” 114 "I am sent only to warn plainly in public." 115 They said, "If you do not desist, O Noah, you will surely be of those who are stoned." 116 He said: "My Lord! My people have branded me a liar. 117 So open between me and them an opening, and save me and the believers who are with me' 118 We saved him and those who were with him in a fully laden Ark, 119 and drowned the rest. 120 There is certainly a sign in that; but most of them do not believe: 121 But surely your Lord is mighty and merciful. 122

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
