We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 And saved them and their people from the great distress, 115 We helped them and they were victorious. 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 And We led the twain on unto the straight path. 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 Peace be unto Moses and Aaron! 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 They are among Our faithful devotees. 122 And indeed Ilyas is one of the Noble Messengers. 123 He asked his people: 'Do you not fear (Allah)? 124 Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators? 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your ancestors of yore.” 126 Then they belied him, so verily they are to be brought up. 127 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 "Peace upon Elias." 130 It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good: 131 Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. 132 AND, BEHOLD, Lot was indeed one of Our message-bearers; 133 (Call to mind) when We delivered him and all his kinsfolk, 134 Except an old woman (who was) amongst those who tarried. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And indeed, you pass by them in the morning 137 and at night. Will you then not understand? 138
