We certainly bestowed Our favor upon Moses and Aaron 114 And saved them and their people from great distress, 115 and succoured them, so that [in the end] it was they who achieved victory. 116 and We gave them the Manifesting Book, 117 And We guided them both on the right way. 118 And We left for them (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 119 Peace be with Moses and Aaron. 120 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 121 They were among Our believing worshipers. 122 So also was Elias among those sent (by Us). 123 He said to his people, "Have you no fear [of God?] 124 Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators? 125 God your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they denounced him as a liar, so they will surely be arraigned (for punishment), 127 except for God's sincere servants; 128 And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good: 131 Lo! he is one of our believing slaves. 132 So also was Lut among those sent (by Us). 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 except an old woman who was among those that stayed behind; 135 and We destroyed the rest. 136 You pass by (their ruined town) in the morning 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
