What, are you harder to create than the heaven which He has built? 27 high above? 28 And He made dark its night and brought out its light. 29 and the earth-after that He spread it out, 30 He brought out its water and its pastures from it, 31 And He made fast the hills, 32 All this was done as a means of enjoyment for you and your cattle. 33 AND SO, when the great overwhelming event [of resurrection] comes to pass 34 The day when man will call to mind his (whole) endeavour, 35 And hell will be made visible to all those who can see. 36 Then as for him who waxed exorbitant, 37 And preferred the life of the world, 38 Then surely the hell, that is the abode. 39 But unto him who shall have stood in fear of his Sustainer's Presence, and held back his inner self from base desires, 40 Verily the Garden! that shall be his resort. 41 They question thee of the Hour: when will its arrival be? 42 About what! You are one to remind of it. 43 This matter is in the hands of your Lord. 44 Thou art but a warner unto him who feareth. 45 On the Day when they behold it, [it will seem to them] as if they had tarried [in this world] no longer than one evening or [one night, ending with] its morn! 46
