Yet man says: "When I am dead, will I come to life again?" 66 But does man not bear in mind that We have created him aforetime out of nothing? 67 So by your Lord! We will most certainly gather them together and the Shaitans, then shall We certainly cause them to be present round hell on their knees. 68 Then We shall pluck out from every sect whichever of them was most stubborn in rebellion to the Beneficent. 69 We know best who deserve to be burnt in (the Fire). 70 And there is none among you who shall not pass over hell; this is an obligatory affair, binding upon your Lord. (Allah will make everyone pass over the back of hell – on a thin bridge.) 71 But We shall save those who guarded against evil, and We shall leave the wrong-doers therein, (humbled) to their knees. 72 And when Our clear verses are recited to them, the disbelievers say to the Muslims, “Which group has a better home, and a better alliance?” 73 How many a generation have We destroyed before them, who were more imposing in respect of gear and outward seeming! 74 Say: "As for him who lives in error, may the Most Gracious lengthen the span of his life! [And let them say whatever they say until the time when they behold that [doom] of which they were forewarned - whether it be suffering [in this world] or [at the coming of] the Last Hour - for then they will understand which [of the two kinds of man] was worse in station and weaker in resources! 75 And Allah increases in guidance those who go aright; and ever-abiding good works are with your Lord best in recompense and best in yielding fruit. 76 Have you seen him who rejected Our signs and said: "Surely I shall continue to be favoured with riches and children." 77 What, has he observed the Unseen, or taken a covenant with the All-merciful? 78 By no means! We shall write down all what he says; and We shall greatly prolong his chastisement, 79 And it is We only Who shall inherit what he says (belongs to him), and he will come to Us, alone. 80 And they have taken gods, other than Allah, that they might be a power from them. 81 In fact, they can have no honor; their gods will renounce their worship of idols and will turn against them. 82
