Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2
But nay! I swear by all that ye see 38 And by whatsoever you see not, 39 That this is verily the word of an honoured messenger; 40 And it is not the speech of a poet. Little it is that ye believe 41 nor is it the work of a soothsayer but only a few of you take heed. 42 (This is) a Message sent down from the Lord of the Worlds. 43 And if he [i.e., the Prophets] had forged this Discourse and thereafter ascribed it to Us, 44 We would certainly have seized him by the right hand, 45 And We should certainly then cut off the artery of his heart: 46 And not one of you could have held Us off from him. 47 The Quran is certainly a reminder for the pious ones. 48 And lo! We know that some among you will deny (it). 49 Indeed, it is a sorrow to the unbelievers 50 And indeed, it is the truth of certainty. 51 Wherefore hallow thou the name of thy Lord, the Mighty. 52
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
