۞ Say, "O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful." 53 "Turn ye to our Lord (in repentance) and bow to His (Will), before the Penalty comes on you: after that ye shall not be helped. 54 "And follow the best of that which is sent down to you from your Lord (i.e. this Quran, do what it orders you to do and keep away from what it forbids), before the torment comes on you suddenly while you perceive not!" 55 Lest a soul should say: Alas! for that I have been remiss in respect of Allah, and I was but of the scoffers! 56 "Or (lest) it should say: 'If only Allah had guided me, I should certainly have been among the righteous!'- 57 Or (lest) he should say when he sees the torment: "If only I had another chance (to return to the world) then I should indeed be among the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112)." 58 Why, My revelations had come to you, but you denied them and were filled with pride, and were among the disbelievers. 59 And on the Day of Resurrection you will see those who lied against Allah (i.e. attributed to Him sons, partners, etc.) their faces will be black. Is there not in Hell an abode for the arrogant ones? 60 And Allah will rescue the pious, to their place of salvation; neither will the punishment touch them, nor shall they grieve. 61 Allah is the Creator of everything; He is the Guardian over everything. 62 To Him belong the keys of the heavens and the earth. It is those who disbelieve in Allah's Signs who will be the losers. 63
