And the heaven! We have built it with might, and verily We are Powerful. 47 And the earth! We have stretched it forth beneath; an excellent Spreader are We! 48 We have created everything in pairs so that perhaps you may take heed. 49 And so, [O Muhammad, say unto them:] "Flee unto God [from all that is false and evil]! Verily, I am a plain warner to you from Him! 50 Do not set up another god with God. I give you a clear warning from Him. 51 Thus has it been (in the past): never did a Messenger come to the nations that preceded them but they said: “(He is) a sorcerer, or a mad-man.” 52 What! Have they willed this utterance to one another? In fact they are a rebellious people. 53 Therefore turn away from them (O dear Prophet Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him), so there is no blame upon you. 54 And remind, for indeed, the reminder benefits the believers. 55 I have only created Jinns and men, that they may serve Me. 56 I do not want from them any provision, nor do I want them to feed Me. 57 Surely Allah is the Bestower of sustenance, the Lord of Power, the Strong. 58 Those who do wrong will indeed come to the same end as their fellows (of old). So let them not ask Me to hasten (the punishment). 59 Therefore woe to those who disbelieve because of their day which they are threatened with. 60
True are the words of God the Almighty.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
