And recall what time thy Lord called unto Musa, saying: go thou unto the wrong-doing people. 10 the nation of Pharaoh. Will they not fear Me' 11 He said, “My Lord, I fear that they will deny me.” 12 "And my breast straitens, and my tongue expresses not well. So send for Harun (Aaron) (to come along with me). 13 Moreover, they keep a grave charge [pending] against me, and I fear that they will slay me." 14 God said, "Indeed not; go both of you with Our signs, We shall be with you, listening [to your call]. 15 They came to the Pharaoh and said, "We are the Messengers of the Lord of the Universe. 16 Let the children of Israel go with us!'" 17 Said Firaun, “Did we do not raise you amongst us, as a child? And you spent many years of your life among us!” 18 And you did (that) deed of yours which you did, and you are one of the ungrateful. 19 He said: I did it then when I was mistaken. 20 and I fled from you because I feared you. But [since] then my Sustainer has endowed me with the ability to judge [between right and wrong,] and has made me one of [His] message-bearers. 21 "And this is the favour with which thou dost reproach me,- that thou hast enslaved the Children of Israel!" 22 Pharaoh said, 'And what is the Lord of all Being?' 23 He said: Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatsoever is in-between, if ye seek to be convinced. 24 Fir'awn said unto those around him: hear ye not? 25 He said: your Lord and the Lord of your ancient fathers. 26 Said he, 'Surely your Messenger who was sent to you is possessed!' 27 He said: Lord of the east and the west and whatsoever is in-between, if ye understand. 28 Pharaoh said: "If you take any god other than me, I will certainly make you one of those (who are rotting) in prison." 29 (Moses) said: "Even if I showed you something clear (and) convincing?" 30 (Pharaoh) said: Produce it then, if thou art of the truthful! 31 So Moosa put down his staff and it became a visible serpent. 32 And he drew forth his hand, and lo, it was white to the beholders. 33
