He told Jesus, "I will save you from your enemies, raise you to Myself, keep you clean from the association with the disbelievers, and give superiority to your followers over the unbelievers until the Day of Judgment. On that day you will all return to Me and I shall resolve your dispute. 55 Then as to those who disbelieve, I will chastise them with severe chastisement in this world and the hereafter, and they shall have no helpers. 56 whereas unto those who attain to faith and do good works He will grant their reward in full: for God does not love evildoers." 57 This, We recite to you of the verses and the Wise Remembrance. 58 For God the likeness of Jesus is as that of Adam whom He fashioned out of dust and said "Be" and he was. 59 (This is) the truth from thy Lord (O Muhammad), so be not thou of those who waver. 60 Wherefore those who contend with thee therein after that which hath come unto thee of the knowledge - say thou: come! let us call our sons and your sons, and our women and your women, and ourselves and yourselves, then let us humbly pray, and invoke the curse of Allah upon the liars. 61 This is the true story. There is no god but God, and assuredly God is the All-mighty, the All-wise. 62 And if they turn their backs, truly Allah knows those who cause mischief. 63
