The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the forenoon (after sun-rise); 1 and by the night when it covers the world with peace: 2 Thy Lord hath not forsaken thee nor doth He hate thee, 3 And the Hereafter is indeed better unto thee than the life present. 4 soon you will be gratified with what your Lord will give you. 5 Did He not find thee an orphan and give thee shelter (and care)? 6 And found you deeply engrossed in His love, so directed you? 7 Did He not find thee destitute and enrich (thee)? 8 Wherefore as to the orphan, be thou not unto him overbearing. 9 And repulse not the beggar; 10 but proclaim the blessings of your Lord. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
