Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
Oh, the chargers that run panting, 1 And strike sparks of fire, 2 And raiding at dawn 3 And therein raising dust. 4 Arriving thereby in the center collectively, 5 Surely Man is ungrateful to his Lord, 6 And indeed he himself is a witness to it. 7 and surely he loves riches with a passionate loving. 8 ۞ But does he not know that [on the Last Day,] when all that is in the graves is raised and brought out, 9 and all that is in the hearts is made public, 10 Verily, that Day (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) their Lord will be Well-Acquainted with them (as to their deeds), (and will reward them for their deeds). 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
