▼ 51 Drivers of the Winds
Al-Dhaareyaat 3 of 3
We have made the heavens with Our own hands and We expanded it. 47 and We cradled the earth. And We are the Best of Cradlers. 48 We have created everything in pairs so that perhaps you may take heed. 49 So flee to Allah. Indeed, I am to you from Him a clear warner. 50 And set not any other god along with Allah; lo! I am a plain warner unto you from Him. 51 In the same way no Messenger came to those who lived before them without his people calling him a magician or an insane person. 52 Have they handed this down to one another? They are certainly a people who exceed all bounds, 53 (Muhammad), leave them alone and you will not be blamed. 54 But go on reminding them, as reminding benefits the believers. 55 And I have not created the jinn and the men except that they should serve Me. 56 I desire of them no provision, neither do I desire that they should feed Me. 57 Surely, Allah is the Provider, the Possessor of Power, the Mighty. 58 The evildoers shall have their portion, like the portion of their fellows; so let them not hasten Me! 59 So ruin is for disbelievers, from their day – which they are promised. 60
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

(1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
