Al-Infitaar

Shattering (Al-Infitaar)

19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

۞ When the heaven splits open. 1 And when the stars become dispersed, 2 When the seas are poured forth, 3 and the graves are turned inside out, 4 A soul will know what it hath sent before (it) and what left behind. 5 O man! what hath beguiled thee concerning thy Lord, the Bountiful, 6 Who created you, fashioned you perfectly, and gave you due proportion; 7 In whatever Form He wills, does He put thee together. 8 No! But you deny the Recompense. 9 but you should know that there are angelic guards 10 Noble and recording; 11 They know whatsoever ye do. 12 Indeed the virtuous are in serenity. 13 The wicked certainly in Hell: 14 They shall enter it on the Day of Recompense 15 and from it they shall never be absent. 16 How can you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 17 Again would that you only knew how terrible it really is! 18 A day when no soul shall possess aught to succour another soul; that day the Command shall belong unto God. 19

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
