In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
The Clatterer! 1 What is the event that terrifies the hearts? 2 And what could make thee conceive what that sudden calamity will be? 3 The day on which men shall be as scattered moths, 4 and the mountains shall be like fluffs of carded wool in varying colours. 5 Then, as for him whose scales are heavy (with good works), 6 will live a pleasant life, 7 but he whose deeds weigh light in the Balance 8 He will have his home in Hawiyah (pit, i.e. Hell). 9 What will convey to you what this is like? 10 Raging Fire. 11
