Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

May the hands of Abu Lahab perish, may he be ruined. 1 Neither his wealth nor his gains will avail him. 2 Surely, he will be cast into a Flaming Fire 3 And his wife, the wood-carrier, 4 [who bears] around her neck a rope of twisted strands! 5

Almighty Allah's Truth.
