(Muhammad), recall Our servant Job. When he prayed to his Lord saying, "Satan has afflicted me with hardship and torment," 41 Urge with your foot; here is a cool washing-place and a drink. 42 We restored to him his family and like those with them, a mercy from Us and a reminder to a nation that understand. 43 "And take in your hand a bundle of thin grass and strike therewith (your wife), and break not your oath. Truly! We found him patient. How excellent (a) slave! Verily, he was ever oft-returning in repentance (to Us)! 44 And remember Our bondmen Ibrahim, and Ishaq, and Yaqub – the men of power and knowledge. 45 We chose them for a special [purpose] -- proclaiming the message of the Hereafter: 46 In Our eyes they were of the chosen, virtuous people. 47 And remember Ishmael, Elisha and Dhu'l-Kifl. Every one of them is among the best. 48 This is an admonition, and verily for the God-fearing is a happy retreat: 49 They will enter gardens of Eden with their gates open for them. 50 wherein they recline, and wherein they call for fruits abundant, and sweet potions, 51 ۞ And with them are those of modest gaze, companions. 52 Such is the Promise made, to you for the Day of Account! 53 this is Our provision, unto which there is no end.' 54 However, the rebellious ones will have the worst place to return. 55 Gehenna, wherein they are roasted - an evil cradling! 56 All of this; so let them taste it, boiling water and pus, 57 And similar other punishments in pairs. 58 (Observing their followers advancing to Hell they will say, among themselves: “This is a troop rushing in to you. There is no welcome for them. They are destined to roast in the Fire.” 59 They say, 'No, it is you have no Welcome; you forwarded it for us; how evil a stablishment!' 60 They will say, "Our Lord, whoever brought this upon us - increase for him double punishment in the Fire." 61 And they will Say: what aileth us that we behold not men whom we were wont to count among the evil ones? 62 Did we take them as an object of mockery, or have (our) eyes failed to perceive them?" 63 Lo! that is very truth: the wrangling of the dwellers in the Fire. 64
