whom God will tell, "My servants, you need have no fear on this day, nor will you be grieved". 68 you who believed in Our Signs and had surrendered yourselves (to Us)! 69 (You will) enter the garden, you and your spouses, and be glad." 70 Golden platters and goblets will be passed around, and everything the heart desires and pleases the eye will be there, where you will abide for ever. 71 for such will be the paradise which you shall have inherited by virtue of your past deeds: 72 Therein for you is fruit in plenty whence to eat. 73 Lo! the guilty are immortal in hell's torment. 74 which will not be lightened for them, and therein they shall be silent. 75 We have not wronged them; it was they who were the wrongdoers. 76 And they will cry: "O thou [angel] who rulest [over hell]! Let thy Sustainer put an end to us!" [whereupon] he will reply: "Verily, you must live on [in this state] 77 Certainly We have brought you the truth, but most of you are averse to the truth. 78 Have they contrived some scheme? If so, We too will contrive a scheme. 79 Or do they think that We do not hear what they conceal and their secret discourses? Aye! and Our apostles with them write down. 80 Say, "If the All Merciful had a son, I would be the first to worship him." 81 Glory to the Lord of the heavens and the earth, the Lord of power, from what they describe. 82 Therefore leave them to utter vile speech and to play, until they confront the day which they are promised. 83 It is He Who is Allah in heaven and Allah on earth; and He is full of Wisdom and Knowledge. 84 Exaltations to Him to whom belong the Kingdom of the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them! With Him is the knowledge of the Hour and to Him you shall be returned. 85 And those whom they invoke instead of Him have no power of intercession; except those who bear witness to the truth (i.e. believed in the Oneness of Allah, and obeyed His Orders), and they know (the facts about the Oneness of Allah). 86 Yet if you ask them: 'Who created you' they will say: 'Allah' How then can they turn away from Him? 87 The Prophet has said, "Lord! Truly they are a people who do not believe." 88 pardon them, and say: 'Peace', soon they will know. 89

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. (3) وقف جائز مع تساوي أولوية الوقف والوصل، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال النصف للنصف. (4) وقف جائز مع الوصل أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلث. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
