Al-Zalzalah

The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

When the earth is shaken to her (utmost) convulsion, 1 And the earth throws up her burdens (from within), 2 and Man says., 'What ails her?' 3 on that Day will she recount all her tidings, 4 Because thy Lord will inspire her. 5 On that Day people will come forward in separate groups to be shown their deeds: 6 So whoever does an atom's weight of good will see it, 7 And whosoever has done even an atom's weight of evil will behold that. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
