The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

By the snorting, panting horses, 1 striking sparks of fire with their hooves, 2 And push home the charge in the morning, 3 Raising clouds of dust, 4 which engulfs the enemy. 5 That man is ungrateful to his Lord 6 And verily to that he is witness. 7 And violent is he in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Does he not know that on the day when those in the graves are resurrected 9 and all that is in the hearts is made public, 10 That their Lord had been Well-acquainted with them, (even to) that Day? 11

True are the words of God the Almighty.
