Pray, "Lord, if you would show me that [the punishment] of which they have been warned, 93 O my Lord, do not put me among the harmdoing people' 94 Assuredly, We are able to show thee that We promise them. 95 Repel evil by what is best; We know best what they describe. 96 And say thou: my Lord! I seek refuge with Thee against the whisperings of the satans. 97 And I seek refuge with Thee, my Lord! lest they may be present with me. 98 [For such is the state of the disbelievers], until, when death comes to one of them, he says, "My Lord, send me back 99 haply I shall do righteousness in that I forsook.' Nay, it is but a word he speaks; and there; behind them, is a barrier until the day that they shall be raised up. 100 Then, when the trumpet [of resurrection] is blown, no ties of kinship will on that Day prevail among them, and neither will they ask about one another. 101 Only those whose scales are heavier in the balance will find happiness. 102 But those whose scales are lighter will perish and abide in Hell for ever. 103 the fire will scorch their faces, and they will abide therein with their lips distorted in pain. 104 “Were not My verses recited to you, so you used to deny them?” 105 They will say: Our Lord! Our evil fortune conquered us, and we were erring folk. 106 Get us out of this, O Lord. If we transgress we will surely be sinful." 107 He (Allah) will say: "Remain you in it with ignominy! And speak you not to Me!" 108 Among My worshipers there were a party who said: "Lord, we believed. Forgive us and have mercy on us: You are the Best of the merciful." 109 "You mocked and laughed at them until you forgot all about Me. 110 Surely I have rewarded them this day because they were patient, that they are the achievers. 111 They will be asked: "How long did you live on the earth in terms of years?" 112 They will reply: 'A day, or part of a day; ask those who have kept count' 113 He will say: "You stayed only for a while, if you only knew that. 114 Did you think that We had created you for a playful purpose and that you were not to return to Us?" 115 So exalted be Allah, the True King; no god is there but He, the Lord of the honorable dominion. 116 And whoever invokes with Allah another god-- he has no proof of this-- his reckoning is only with his Lord; surely the unbelievers shall not be successful. 117 And (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) say, “My Lord! Forgive and have mercy, and You are the Best of all the Merciful. 118
