Hast thou not regarded those who dispute concerning the signs of God, how they are turned about? 69 those who reject the Book and that with which We sent Our messengers shall soon know -- 70 When the shackles are around their necks and the chains; they will be dragged 71 In boiling water; then in the Fire they will be filled [with flame]. 72 Then shall it be said to them: Where is that which you used to set up 73 side by side with God?" They will answer: "They have forsaken us - or, rather, what we were wont to invoke aforetime did not exist at all!" And they will be told:] "It is thus that God lets the deniers of the truth go astray: 74 [The angels will say], "That was because you used to exult upon the earth without right and you used to behave insolently. 75 “Enter the gates of hell, to remain in it forever”; so what a wretched destination for the haughty! 76 Therefore be patient (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), undoubtedly Allah’s promise is true; and whether We show some of what We promise them, or cause you to pass away before it – in any case they will return to Us. 77 Verily We sent messengers before thee, among them those of whom We have told thee, and some of whom We have not told thee; and it was not given to any messenger that he should bring a portent save by Allah's leave, but when Allah's commandment cometh (the cause) is judged aright, and the followers of vanity will then be lost. 78
