The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Hallow thou the name of thine Lord, the Most High, 1 who created all things and gave them due proportions, 2 who determined and guided, 3 And who brings out the pasture 4 And [then] makes it black stubble. 5 We shall teach you (the Quran) and you will not forget it 6 Except what Allah, may will, He knows what is apparent and what is hidden. 7 And We will make your way smooth to a state of ease. 8 Therefore give admonition in case the admonition profits (the hearer). 9 He who fears [Allah] will be reminded. 10 But it will be avoided by those most unfortunate ones, 11 Who will enter the Great Fire, 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 He indeed hath attained bliss who hath cleansed himself, 14 And recites the name of his Lord and serves with devotion. 15 But you prefer the life of this world, 16 although the life to come is better and more enduring. 17 Surely this is in the ancient scrolls, 18 Writs of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
