The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
When the earth is shaken with its mighty shaking, 1 when the earth shakes off her burdens, 2 and man cries out, "What has happened to her?" 3 on that Day will she recount all her tidings, 4 Because thy Lord will inspire her. 5 That Day, the people will depart separated [into categories] to be shown [the result of] their deeds. 6 and whoso has done an atom's weight of good shall see it, 7 And he who has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
