And indeed, warnings came to the people of Fir'aun (Pharaoh) [through Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)]. 41 They denied all Our signs, We therefore seized them – the seizure of the Most Honourable, the All Powerful. 42 Are your disbelievers better than those [former ones], or have you immunity in the scripture? 43 Or do they say: 'We are a gathering that will be victorious' 44 (Let them know that) this united group will soon run away in defeat. 45 Nay, but the Hour is their appointed time (for their full recompense), and the Hour will be more grievous and more bitter. 46 Surely the guilty are in error and distress. 47 The day when they are dragged on their faces into the Fire: 'Taste now the touch of Sakar!' 48 Surely We have created everything in measure. 49 And Our command is but one (word) swift as the winking of an eye. 50 We did indeed destroy many like you. Is there, then, any who will heed? 51 And everything they have wrought is in the Writs. 52 and everything [that man does,] be it small or great, is recorded [with God]. 53 The pious ones will live in Paradise wherein streams flow, 54 in a secure abode, in the presence of the Powerful King. 55
