Did you not see that We sent devils upon the disbelievers, so they excite them abundantly? 83 So, do not be hasty with them. We are counting their number (of days). 84 The Day shall soon come when We shall bring together the God-fearing to the Most Compassionate Lord, as honoured guests; 85 And We will drive the guilty to hell thirsty 86 having no power of intercession, save those who have taken with the All-merciful covenant. 87 And they say: 'The Merciful has taken a son' 88 Surely, you have brought a monstrous thing! 89 The heavens are close to being torn apart by it, and the earth being split asunder, and the mountains succumbing and falling down. 90 That men should ascribe a son to the Most Gracious, 91 And it does not befit the Most Gracious to choose an offspring! 92 All that is in the heavens and the earth will return to the Beneficent God as His submissive servants. 93 He has counted them and numbered them precisely, 94 And each one of them will come before Him on the Day of Resurrection, alone. 95 Verily those who believe and do righteous works - anon the Compassionate shall appoint for them affection. 96 and only to this end have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own tongue, [O Prophet,] so that thou might convey thereby a glad tiding to the God-conscious, and warn thereby those who are given to [futile] contention: 97 for, how many a generation have We destroyed before their time - [and] canst thou perceive any one of them [now,] or hear any whisper of them? 98
