Al-Anbyaa' 7 of 7
So he who does the right and is a believer, will not have his labour denied, for We are congnisant of it. 94 And there is prohibition upon [the people of] a city which We have destroyed that they will [ever] return 95 Until when Ya'juj and Ma'juj are let out, and from every mound they are trickling down. 96 the while the true promise [of resurrection] draws close [to its fulfillment]. But then, lo! the eyes of those who [in their lifetime] were bent on denying the truth will stare in horror, [and they will exclaim:] "Oh, woe unto us! We were indeed heedless of this [promise of resurrection]! - nay, we were [bent on] doing evil!" 97 You and what you worship instead of God will be fuel for hell: to it you shall all come -- 98 if those had really been deities, they would not have been led there; but there they will remain forever. 99 There, sobbing will be their lot, nor will they there hear (aught else). 100 Those for whom the good (record) from Us has gone before, will be removed far therefrom. 101 They shall not hear the least sound thereof, and in that felicity which their souls desire they shall be abiders. 102 They will not be grieved by the greatest terror, and the angels will meet them, [saying], "This is your Day which you have been promised" - 103 On that Day We shall roll up the skies as written scrolls are rolled up; [and] as We brought into being the first creation, so We shall bring it forth anew - a promise which We have willed upon Ourselves: for, behold, We are able to do [all things]! 104 We have already written in the Psalms following the Reminder, "My righteous servants shall inherit the earth." 105 Indeed, in this [Qur'an] is notification for a worshipping people. 106 We sent thee not save as a mercy for the peoples. 107 Say, "It is revealed to me that there is only one Lord. Will you then submit yourselves to His will?" 108 If they turn away, tell them: "I have warned you all alike. I do not know if what has been promised you is near or far away. 109 Surely He knows what is spoken openly and He knows what you hide; 110 And I know not, perhaps it may be a trial for you, and an enjoyment for a while. 111 He saith: my Lord! judge Thou with truth. And our Lord is the Compassionate Whose help is to be sought against that which ye utter. 112

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
