Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By the (Winds) that scatter broadcast; 1 And those that bear the burden (of the rain) 2 and those speeding along with ease, 3 and execute the great task of apportioning (rainfall): 4 Verily the promise made to you is true: 5 and the Day of Judgment will inevitably take place. 6 By the Sky with (its) numerous Paths, 7 Certainly, you have different ideas (about Muhammad SAW and the Quran). 8 Deluded away from the Qur'an is he who is deluded. 9 May the conjecturers perish, 10 Who are within a flood [of confusion] and heedless. 11 They ask, “When will be the Day of Judgement?” 12 It will be the Day whereon in the Fire they will be burned 13 'Taste your trial. This is what you have sought to hasten' 14 Surely those who fear God and follow the straight path will be amidst gardens and fresh springs of water, 15 Taking that which their Lord will vouchsafe unto hem. Verily they have been before that well-doers. 16 Little of the night they were wont to slumber. 17 and at dawn would ask forgiveness, 18 And in their wealth the beggar and the outcast had due share. 19 And on the earth there are signs for those who would be convinced. 20 and also in your own selves. Do you not see? 21 And in heaven is your provision and also what you are being promised. 22 By the Lord of the heavens and the earth, this is certainly true even as you speak. 23
