With power and skill did We construct the Firmament: for it is We Who create the vastness of pace. 47 and We cradled the earth. And We are the Best of Cradlers. 48 And of everything We have created pairs; perhaps you will take heed. 49 Therefore flee unto God! I am a clear warner from Him to you. 50 And set not up with God another god; I am a clear warner from Him to you. 51 Similarly, no Messenger came to those before them but they said: 'Sorcerer, or mad' 52 Have they (the people of the past) transmitted this saying to these (Quraish pagans)? Nay, they are themselves a people transgressing beyond bounds (in disbelief)! 53 Turn away from them. You will not be blamed. 54 But remind, the Reminder will benefit the believers. 55 I have not created mankind and jinn except to worship Me. 56 I do not want from them any provision, nor do I want them to feed Me. 57 God is certainly the great provider, Lord of strength and power. 58 And indeed for these unjust is also a turn of punishment, like that of their companions – so they must not ask Me to hasten. 59 For, woe unto those who are bent on denying the truth - [woe] on the Day which they have been promised 60
