The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
When the sun is covered, 1 And when the stars darken, 2 And when the hills are moved, 3 when the ten-months pregnant camels shall be abandoned, 4 And when the wild beasts shall be gathered together, 5 and when the seas boil over, 6 And when the souls are paired 7 And when the girl buried alive shall be asked: 8 for what sin she was killed, 9 When the scrolls are laid open; 10 When the world on High is unveiled; 11 When Hell is set ablaze, 12 And when Paradise is brought near. 13 then shall each person know what he has brought along. 14 So verily I call to witness the planets - that recede, 15 Those that run [their courses] and disappear - 16 And by oath of the night when it turns back. 17 The rising dawn, 18 [That] indeed, the Qur'an is a word [conveyed by] a noble messenger 19 The mighty, the honoured in the presence of the Lord of the Throne. 20 obeyed, moreover trusty. 21 Your companion is not one possessed: 22 in truth he saw him (Gabriel) on the clear horizon, 23 and he is not one to begrudge others the knowledge [of whatever has been revealed to him] out of that which is beyond the reach of human Perception. 24 Nor is this the word of a stoned satan. 25 When whither go ye? 26 It is naught but a reminder for the nations, 27 for whosoever of you who would go straight; 28 but your wishing will not avail unless Allah, the Lord of the Universe, so wishes. 29
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
