The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
The (unprecedented) crash! 1 What is the Striking? 2 What shall let you know what the Clatterer is! 3 (It is) a Day whereon men will be like moths scattered about, 4 And the mountains shall be as loosened wool. 5 Then as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be heavy, 6 will have a most pleasing life. 7 But he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) light,- 8 Will have the Abyss for abode. 9 And what do you know what that is? 10 A Fire vehemently hot! 11
True are the words of God the Almighty.
