We did indeed give Moses nine manifest signs; you can enquire from the Children of Israel. When he came to them, Pharaoh said to him, "Moses, I can see that you are bewitched." 101 [Musa (Moses)] said: "Verily, you know that these signs have been sent down by none but the Lord of the heavens and the earth as clear (evidences i.e. proofs of Allah's Oneness and His Omnipotence, etc.). And I think you are, indeed, O Fir'aun (Pharaoh) doomed to destruction (away from all good)!" 102 Pharaoh sought to provoke them so that they would leave the land, but We drowned him, together with all who were with him. 103 We told the Israelites after this to settle in the land until Our second promise will come true. We would then gather them all together (on the Day of Judgment). 104 And We sent down the Qur’an with the truth, and it has come down only for the truth; and We did not send you except as a Herald of glad tidings and warnings. 105 We have divided the Qur'an into parts that you may recite it to men slowly, with deliberation. That is why We sent it down by degrees. 106 Proclaim, “Whether you accept faith in it or not”; indeed those who received knowledge before the Qur’an came, fall down prostrate on their faces when it is recited to them. 107 Saying: Glory to our Lord! Verily the promise of our Lord must be fulfilled. 108 And weeping they kneel down, and this increases their humility. ۩ 109 Say: "Call Him Allah or call Him Ar-Rahman; whatever the name you call Him by, all His names are beautiful." Do not say your prayers too loudly or in too low a voice, but follow a middle coarse. 110 And say: "All praise be to God who has neither begotten a son nor has a partner in His kingdom; nor has He need of any one to protect Him from ignominy. So extol Him by extolling His majesty." 111
