SAY: "O my Sustainer! If it be Thy will to let me witness [the fulfillment of] whatever they [who blaspheme against Thee] have been promised [to suffer] 93 My Lord! then set me not among the wrongdoing folk. 94 And most surely We are well able to make you see what We threaten them with. 95 [But whatever they may say or do,] repel the evil [which they commit] with something that is better: We are fully aware of what they attribute [to Us]. 96 And say: 'O my Lord, I take refuge in Thee from the evil suggestions of the Satans, 97 "And I seek refuge with Thee O my Lord! lest they should come near me." 98 [AS FOR THOSE who will not believe in the life to come, they go on lying to themselves] until, when death approaches any of them, he prays: "O my Sustainer! Let me return, let me return [to life,] 99 That I might do righteousness in that which I left behind." No! It is only a word he is saying; and behind them is a barrier until the Day they are resurrected. 100 So when the Trumpet is blown – so there will neither be any relationship among them* that day, nor will they ask about one another. (The disbelievers) 101 It will be an Hour when those whose scales are heavy, they alone will attain success; 102 whereas they whose weight is light in the balance - it is they who will have squandered their own selves, [destined] to abide in hell: 103 The Fire will burn their faces, and they will therein grin, with their lips displaced. 104 (It will be said): Were not My revelations recited unto you, and then ye used to deny them? 105 They will say: "our Lord! Our misfortune overwhelmed us, and we became a people astray! 106 Get us out of this, O Lord. If we transgress we will surely be sinful." 107 He (Allah) will say: "Remain you in it with ignominy! And speak you not to Me!" 108 There was a group of my servants among you who always prayed: Lord, forgive us and grant us mercy; You are the best of those who show mercy. 109 But you took them for a laughing-stock, till they made you forget My remembrance, mocking at them. 110 Verily! I have rewarded them this Day for their patience, they are indeed the ones that are successful. 111 [Allah] will say, "How long did you remain on earth in number of years?" 112 They shall say, 'We have tarried a day, or part of a day; ask the numberers!' 113 He will say, “You stayed but only a little, if you knew.” 114 Did you think that We had created you only for play, and that you would never be returned to Us' 115 Then, exalted be God, the true King, there is no deity except Him, the Lord of the Glorious Throne. 116 Whoever worships another god apart from God, for which he holds no proof, will have to account for it before his Lord. Verily the unbelievers will not prosper. 117 And say: 'My Lord, forgive and have mercy, for Thou art the best of the merciful.' 118
