Did you (O Muhammad SAW) observe him who turned away (from Islam). 33 Who gives but little, and is niggardly? 34 Is with him the knowledge of the unseen so that he sees? 35 Has not he been informed of the contents of the Book of Moses 36 and about Abraham who fulfilled his duty (to God)? 37 Namely, that no bearer of burdens can bear the burden of another; 38 and that man shall have only that for which he strives; 39 And that his endeavour shall be presently observed. 40 Then he will be fully repaid for it? 41 And that unto thy Lord is the goal. 42 And that it is He who makes [one] laugh and weep 43 and that He it is Who causes death and grants life, 44 That He did create in pairs,- male and female, 45 From Nutfah (drops of semen male and female discharges) when it is emitted; 46 And that on Him is the bringing forth a second time; 47 And that He it is Who enricheth and contenteth; 48 And that it is He Who is the Lord of Sirius. 49 That it was He who destroyed the 'Ad of old, 50 and Thamood, sparing no one, 51 and the people of Noah before -- certainly they did exceeding evil, and were insolent 52 and He overthrew the subverted cities [of Sodom and Gomorrah] 53 and caused them to be covered with that which He covered them with. 54 So, which of your Lord's bounties will you doubt?” 55 This is a warning just like those of former times. 56 The (Judgment) ever approaching draws nigh: 57 Of it, [from those] besides Allah, there is no remover. 58 Do ye then wonder at this recital? 59 And you laugh, and do not weep! 60 And ye are behaving proudly. 61 Prostrate yourselves before God, and worship Him alone! ۩ 62
