The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

WOE TO EVERY slanderer, back-biter, 1 who collects and hordes wealth, 2 thinking that his property will make him live forever. 3 Nay! he shall most certainly be hurled into the crushing disaster, 4 And what shall make thee know that which the Crushing Fire is? 5 It is a Fire kindled by God. 6 Which leaps up over the hearts, 7 Surely it shall be closed over upon them, 8 in extended columns. 9

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
