Truly, it is the sending of the Lord of the Worlds. 192 trustworthy divine inspiration has alighted with it from on high 193 upon your heart (Prophet Muhammad), in order to be one of the warners, 194 In plain Arabic speech. 195 And lo! it is in the Scriptures of the men of old. 196 Is it not evidence enough for them that the learned among the Children of Israel have recognized this [as true]? 197 Had We revealed it to a man of obscure tongue 198 And he had recited it unto them, they would not have believed in it. 199 Thus have We inserted disbelief into the hearts of the criminals. 200 They will not believe in it till they behold the painful doom, 201 So it will come upon them suddenly, whilst they will be unaware. 202 they say: "Can we be granted some respite?" 203 Would they (now) hasten on Our doom? 204 Did you consider that if We were to let them enjoy life for many years 205 And then what they were promised comes upon them, 206 of what avail would their past enjoyment be to them? 207 And We destroyed not a city but it had its warners. 208 By way of reminder; and We never are unjust. 209 The satans have not revealed the Quran; 210 It would neither suit them nor would they be able (to produce it). 211 Verily far from hearing are they removed. 212 Hence, [O man,] do not invoke any other deity side by side with God, lest thou find thyself among those who are made to suffer [on Judgment Day]. 213 And warn your nearest relations, 214 And lower thy wing to the Believers who follow thee. 215 And if they disobey you, then say, "Indeed, I am disassociated from what you are doing." 216 and place thy trust in the Almighty, the Dispenser of Grace, 217 Who seeth thee standing forth (in prayer), 218 And your turning over and over among those who prostrate themselves before Allah. 219 Indeed, He is the Hearing, the Knowing. 220 Shall I tell you upon whom the devils descend? 221 They descend upon all sinful self-deceivers 222 who readily lend ear [to every falsehood,] and most of whom lie to others as well. 223 And the Poets,- It is those straying in Evil, who follow them: 224 Observest thou not, that they wander about every vale. 225 And they say what they do not do, 226 Except those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism), and do righteous deeds, and remember Allah much, and reply back (in poetry) to the unjust poetry (which the pagan poets utter against the Muslims). And those who do wrong will come to know by what overturning they will be overturned. 227
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
