We built the universe with Our might, giving it its vast expanse. 47 We have spread out the earth and how brilliantly it is spread! 48 We have created everything in pairs so that perhaps you may take heed. 49 So flee to Allah (from His Torment to His Mercy Islamic Monotheism), verily, I (Muhammad SAW) am a plain warner to you from Him. 50 And set not up (or worship) any other ilahan (god) along with Allah [Glorified be He (Alone), Exalted above all that they associate as partners with Him]. Verily, I (Muhammad SAW) am a plain warner to you from Him. 51 Similarly, no messenger came to the Peoples before them, but they said (of him) in like manner, "A sorcerer, or one possessed"! 52 Have they (the people of the past) transmitted this saying to these (Quraish pagans)? Nay, they are themselves a people transgressing beyond bounds (in disbelief)! 53 Then turn your back upon them for you are not to blame; 54 Do, however, keep exhorting them; for exhortation benefits those endowed with faith. 55 And I created the jinns and men, only for them to worship Me. 56 I do not ask any sustenance from them, nor wish that they give Me food. 57 Verily, Allah is the All-Provider, Owner of Power, the Most Strong. 58 Those who do wrong will indeed come to the same end as their fellows (of old). So let them not ask Me to hasten (the punishment). 59 So woe to the unbelievers, for that day of theirs that they are promised. 60
