Al-Najm 3 of 3
(O Prophet), did you see him who turned away (from the Path of Allah), 33 and gives so little [of himself for the good of his soul,] and so grudgingly? 34 Has he knowledge of the unseen, so that he sees? 35 Or hath he not had news of what is in the books of Moses 36 And of Ibrahim, who was most obedient? 37 that no soul shall bear the burden of another; 38 And that man will not obtain anything except what he strove for? 39 and that (the result of) his striving shall soon be seen, 40 and will be fully recompensed for his deeds. 41 And that the end is only towards your Lord? 42 and that He it is Who causes people to laugh and to cry, 43 And that He it is Who causes death and gives life- 44 And that it is He Who has created the two pairs, male and female? 45 From a drop (of seed) when it is poured forth; 46 And that only upon Him is the next revival? 47 and that it is He alone who frees from want and causes to possess; 48 And that He is the Lord of the Sirius; 49 that it was He that destroyed ancient Aad 50 and Thamood, and He did not spare them, 51 And also the people of Nuh aforetime. Verily they were even greater wrong-doers and more contumacious. 52 And the overturned towns He hurled down 53 So that they were covered over by what they were covered over. 54 So, which of your Lord's bounties will you doubt?” 55 This is a warner of the warners of old. 56 The Day of Resurrection draws near, 57 None, except Allah, can avert it. 58 Will you, then, wonder at this? 59 and do you laugh, and do you not weep, 60 And you are lost in play! 61 So make obeisance to Allah and serve (Him). ۩ 62
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
